Quillen is a moderate to small sized river, with beautiful structure. Weed beds flats, riffles, cut banks with deep pools provide a variety of water that combined with easy wading (mostly sand bottoms) makes it just perfect. Anglers can expect 1 to 4 pounds rainbows and browns (plus the chance to land trophy browns up to 10 pounds). If you are a dry fly action fanatic don't forget to include this Lodge in your trip.
Other options are available like fishing the Malalco spring creek (excellent sight fishing - DRIES & NIMPHS) or making day floats on the Alumine river that runs nearby.
